Printer setup

This application works over the newtwork with Prusa MINI/MINI+, Prusa MK3.9/MK4, and with the older Raspberry Pi-based Prusa MK2.5/MK3.
This application has been updated to utilize the latest OpenAPI specifications, which require firmware version 4.7.0 or later. If you own a Prusa MINI/MINI+, please make sure your printer is running firmware 5.1.0 or a more recent version. Firmware versions 4.7.x and 5.0.x are not available for this model. For Prusa MK2.5/MK3, this integration requires PrusaLink version 0.7.2 or later.

Prusa MINI/MINI+/MK3.9/MK4
  • On your printer, navigate to Settings > Network > PrusaLink.
  • Find the device’s IP address. Alternatively, you can look for the printer’s IP address or hostname on your router.
  • Some models, the username may not be visible, as it is hardcoded to maker.
  • Depending on your model, the password entry may not be called Password, but API key.
PRUSA MK2.5/MK3
  • The device’s IP address is displayed on the printer LCD after PrusaLink starts up. Alternatively, you can look for the printer’s IP address or hostname on your router.
  • Please use maker as username
  • Use the password you entered during the initial PrusaLink setup (not the API key).

Support STL files only

Currently, the application only supports source files in STL format, the application interface warns about this, and it will not display non-STL files

Subscription

This application is provided without any commercial ads. You can subscribe via in-app purchase to get more slices per day. Subscription terms include clear details about the period (monthly) and the fact that usage of the app is dependent on an active subscription. You can change your subscription level (number of slices per day) at any time as needed.

Slicing

Thanks to our cloud slicer and unified backend you don't need to use the PC for 3d printing anymore. You can easilly find different models directly, choose and slice desired model files. Everything bundled into one intutitive application without switch to antother one. Just start using our app for daily printing without any care of connected third-party devices like RPi. Everything prepared direcly in your mobile device and uploaded via PrusaLink or written into attached SD Card (you have to obtain any kind of card reader comlining your neeeds).

Name of output GCODE

The GCODE file name has a specific format that allows one to discern the basic slicer parameters and the reference ID from the GCODE name at a glance.

Non-Binary GCODE

Currently, the application only supports the non-binary GCODE format

Offline export

You can use our app also if you don't have the 3d printer on the network, you can use Share button to export GCODE to attached SD CARD and then insert into the printer.

QRCODE colors

When choosing a filament color for printing a QR code, consider high contrast between the code itself and its background to ensure optimal scanability. Generally, black filament for the QR code on a white or light-colored background works best. Avoid using transparent or highly reflective filaments as they can impair the QR scanner's ability to read the code accurately. Select matte finishes over glossy ones to minimize light reflection, enhancing the readability of the printed QR code.
